Frequently asked questions
Are your courses eligible for financial assistance?
All Real Estate Educated courses are non-credit, professional development courses and are not eligible for any payment plans or state/ federal financial aid, including scholarships and government-subsidized loans or grants. The course fee is due in full when you register. Alternatively, some students choose to obtain a private educational loan through their bank or private lender (such as Sallie Mae), that may be an option you wish to explore.
Are your courses self-paced?
We partner with the RE Campus, a Dearborn Education Provider to offer asynchronous courses that students can complete in a self-paced, self-study program style. This means that you do not have any specific milestones for completing any coursework other than the time allotted for the program itself. Dearborn provides the curriculum and instructors to maintain the state standards so students can succeed on the Georgia state licensing exam. We do not offer these courses in person.
What is the cancelation policy?
No cancellations or refunds issued for any course after seven days of purchase for online, asynchronous course. For our in-person, hybrid, and live-virtual no refunds are issued after the course commences. Any refund request must be made no later than 72 prior to course commencement.
Are there any prerequisites for the 75-Hour pre-licensure courses?
You must be 18 years or older to register and must be a high school graduate or the holder of a certificate of equivalency to enroll in this course. Prior to receiving a license, you must file for a Georgia Crime Investigation Center (GCIC) report or a certified criminal history report from your resident state. Should you have any concerns about a criminal history, it is recommended that you complete the Background Clearance Application. Visit the Georgia Real Estate Commission & Appraisers Board web page for more information.
Does the registration fee include the licensure exam? What are the requirements for obtaining a real estate license in the state of Georgia?
The registration fee for this course includes the end-of-course proctored final exam but does not include the state licensing exam. Visit the Georgia Real Estate Commission & Appraisers Board web page for more information on the state licensing exam.
